Hello everyone, these are the rules and regulations of Night Sky Wolves. You MUST read this rules and follow them, or else... *mwhaha*
** lime color signals a new rule.
General Rules:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- No fighting, cursing, name calling, none of that! No cursing EVEN in roleplay, I'm warning you.
- If you start fighting, you'll get a warning. When you have three warnings, you will be banned.
- Be respectful of others, they can't be on 24/7, so please be patient.
- Always listen to me, and the mods.
- Be appropriate, always.
- You must have atleast 150 words minimum for each rping post.
- Add all the characters you have created into your signature. It helps to know who plays what.
- Please use proper spelling and grammar; I cannot stress this enough. It's not hard to spell check your post and read it over, making sure it has correct grammar.
Characters:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-You can have a limit of 10 characters, as of now.
- You must wait to be accepted before you role-play; it won't take me long.
-When you create them, they cannot have any "special" powers unless they have been granted especially for you.
-Try to keep them realistic- all wolves have flaws, just remember that.
- Your characters can't always be the same, or be the tallest, or have the bloodiest teeth, ect.
- If you keep attacking a pack or particular wolf with your characters for no reason, you will be given a warning and/or your character will be banned for a certain amount of time.
- Do not claim/adopt another person's character without their permission. Otherwise, the staff members may mistake it for copying or stealing.
- You are only allowed wolf characters, not foxes, dogs, ect. However, hybrids are perfectly fine, so long as the hybrid is %50 wolf. The other half can consist of one or more different type of canine, such as coyote, dingo, or dog. Look here for more info.
Fighting
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Fights can be over anything (Land, females, food, etc.).
- Absolutely no power-playing, that's just not fair. You can't think for the other person.
- No god-modding. You are not invisible and miss every hit.
- You can not kill another wolf without the player's consent, obviously.
- Fighting can take place anywhere; you don't have to be in any particular board or anything.
Code: pack. You must send me the code in a pm, so I know you read the rules.
- Before fighting, there must be a thing to fight over, and whoever wins gets that something, and whoever loses doesn't and or has to leave the territory, depending on what your fighting over. Battles shouldn't be over nonsense.
- I will decide the winner of the fight, based on the reality of your fighting, and the condition of the wolf. The winner gets whatever they are fighting over (if anything).
- Your pack can only raid on another pack if there is more than two members in the the other pack (Pups do not count).
- You can hurt a pup, because it counts as disciplining. Even if it may hurt, the adults have a right to teach it a lessons. Even unnecessary abuse is alright, unless the pup's roleplayer doesn't agree.
- Again, just be realistic! If you get in a fight, your character will receive various injuries. It's not fair if you dodge attacks all the time, or make it so your wolf only gets minor wounds.
Hunting
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Hunts MUST be done as a group, not counting small prey such as mice and rabbits. (This is reality, and single wolves cannot go hunting and eat whatever they like, and when).
- There should be at least 3 or more wolves when hunting big prey together.
- Remember, in the real world you can't get everything. That goes for animals and hunting. You have to miss something; plenty of hunts fail.
- Prey will generally be eaten wherever it is caught. You can however take small pieces of food back for later. Burying food is also acceptable.
- You HAVE to eat in the pack order, though of coarse alphas can switch things around if they want.
Alphas go first.
Betas go second.
Warriors and mothers go third.
Other members go fourth, generally including pups. (They'll have to sort out their own order.)
Omega's go absolutely last. (You'll be lucky if anythings left...)
Claiming Lands
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- You can only claim a land if no one else has claimed it. Otherwise, you'd have to join or fight for it.
- You can only claim one land, unless you won another in a fight.
- It isn't fair for a pack of 10 wolves to fight a pack of 2 wolves and so win their territory. This is like ganging up on one pack, so if you want to fight a pack with more or less wolves, come to me and we'll sort it out. Preferably, the larger pack should bring only a few wolves to the fight in order for it to come out fairly.
- Before trying to take over a territory, the Alpha and Alphess have to agree to doing so. If they disagree, since the Alpha has more power, what he says goes. So, you can't have a group of wolves just come over, who aren't following the alpha, and try to claim the land.
- Once you take over a territory, from a fight or otherwise, you claim it in the same way: by making a claiming post (which should contain the word, "claiming" in the title) and marking and perhaps howling to claim ownership.
Breeding/Birthing
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- They can have up to 5 pups in a litter. I will decide the number of pups, randomly. You get to choose the stats if you want, but otherwise I will pick that, too.
- The mothers must give birth in the birthing den, nowhere else, even if they are a rogue. Mothers create their own birthing dens, too, so remember that.
- You can play the pups as one whole character for a while, when they need to have separate personalities, and such. You must play them like any other wolf then.
-Absolutely NO graphic breeding! Detail isn't necessary, a simple generalization is plenty good enough.
EDIT*Absolutely NO COPYING! It is very disrespectful, so why don't you stealers go get your own ideas and stop copying ours!? Hey, if you can't think of your own rules, ask for some help please, don't just go copying EXACTLY every single word off of our Rules. Plus, do not go changing some words so it looks like you did it on your own. Also, it's nice to get some advice/examples of roleplaying from other players, but please don't copy their writing style. Notice it's their writing style and it is very rude to use the same words they do because you can't think of your own.
Thank You!
